HOMER is a sports prediction room with an AI announcer. You make picks on NFL and college football games, HOMER locks them on the record, tracks your results, and talks trash. It’s an entertainment app — not a sportsbook, not a gambling operator, not a payment service.
HOMER is currently in beta. Things will break, features will change, and we’ll ship updates frequently. Your picks and room data are real and persistent, but the product is still evolving.
All picks are for entertainment and bragging rights. Actions and Pools between friends are exactly that — informal arrangements between you and the other people in your league. HOMER never holds, escrows, or moves money.
Settlement happens off-app. We’ll show you what the app thinks you owe and build a Venmo link to make paying easier, but that link just opens Venmo — we have no relationship with Venmo and no way to verify a payment actually happened. Marking something “paid” is one person tapping a button. Who actually settles up, and whether they do, is entirely between you.
HOMER isn’t affiliated with, and doesn’t operate, any sportsbook, prediction market, or payment service. We don’t earn referral revenue and we don’t link you out to betting platforms. If you mention elsewhere-placed positions in a room, HOMER just records what you said — it’s commentary, not a transaction.
Live scores and game results come from a third-party sports data feed. We use it to grade picks and settle Actions automatically, and it’s usually right — but it can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Don’t treat HOMER’s scoreboard as an official record. When the app can’t confidently grade something, it voids it rather than guessing. You can cancel an Action you proposed up until someone accepts it; after that it’s live.
HOMER’s commentary is AI-generated and intentionally mouthy. It’s meant as a joke among friends. It will sometimes be wrong, occasionally be weird, and it doesn’t represent our views or anyone else’s. If it produces something genuinely out of line, tell us at support@homersports.app.
Leagues are private rooms with real people in them. Don’t post harassment, hate, threats, or anyone else’s private information. Don’t use HOMER to run a commercial betting operation. Commissioners can remove members from their leagues, and we can suspend or close accounts that abuse the platform.
You can close your account at any time from Settings. Closing it signs you out and stops your name from showing to other members; see our Privacy page for what happens to your league history, and how to request full deletion.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the date at the top and let you know. Continuing to use HOMER after changes means you’re good with the updated terms.
